Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
My experience at BAE systems has been very good. I have had lots of learning and development opportunities' with lots of support.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Supplier management, Securing Bids, Sending PO's, Hosting external and internal meetings, Cross function collaboration. I enjoy being part of the bid process and having the oppurtunity to work with cross functions and teams.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I have been given tasks to lead by myself, which has given me the opportunity to feel trusted and knowledgeable. I have also been allowed to mentor new graduates into the role which has allowed me to share my skills and knowledge.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Good work life balance, good starting bonus and okay yearly bonus.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

This role is teaching me the supply chain fundamentals and allowing me to develop supply skills required to pursue a successful career. The graduate scheme has also given me the opportunity to build networks across BAE functions and programmes.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

The day to day role has given me the opportunity to learn and develop lots of skills, however more relevant training could be provided in addition to the day to day learning.

We receive lots of support from Graduates. We have an early career mentor, a business mentor and development hours.

Work life balance is very good. Flexible hybrid arrangements and also toil time.

Good cultures and atmosphere. Very respectful and friendly company to work for

Very good. BAE has lots of internal campaigns and support groups for diversity and inclusion. These campaigns are to listen to any concerns and support change throughout the business. BAE are always open to new groups and campaigns.
How would you rate BAE Systems CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

Very good. BAE allow you to have time to take part in outreach and community opportunity. BAE encourage SHE practice.
