Overall, how would you describe your experience at Arm?
Arm is a great place to work. My team is very friendly and helpful. And my manager is genuinely interested in giving me work that I will find interesting and that the team will benefit from. Add a wonderful wider community to participate in to that and it's a place that's difficult to beat!
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a performance analysis engineer, my role in my team was to help with analysing workloads and how well they perform on Arm platforms. I was also responsible for developing tooling for analysis that would used by the wider team. I enjoyed the hands on, real life problem solving nature of the role the most - when analysing a workload, it was always to find some sort of optimisation or pitfall that could be improved in future products. I was a part of the constant development and betterment of Arm products.
