Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Support the Sport Development team in organising and coordinating sports and physical activity
programs for students and staff.
• Assisting and leading on some marketing and promotion activities, focusing on increasing
participation among non-active students.
• Delivering activities as part of the Active Campus program which offers free sport and fitness
classes to students.
• Facilitate recreational activities, ensuring smooth session delivery by managing equipment,
collecting participant data, and addressing queries.
• Promote MMU Sport programs at events such as pop-up stalls and Fresher’s Fayre.
• Gather and utilise student feedback to improve sports initiatives.

3 probation meetings and weekly meetings with my manager. I felt like i could always turn to her for help.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It's not very diverse. However the office had such great vibes and I'd love to come back anyday.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I loved it so much and got so much out of it and if i could I'd go back to work there tomorrow. The atmosphere, the people and office atmosphere was really good.
