Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
Very good employer.
Enjoyable graduate scheme, however the scheme can vary between different business units. Your role can influence the opportunities you get. I would love to see rotations reintroduced to the graduate scheme as your role doesn't always link to previous experience or interests but there is scope to move if required. I have been fortunate to find a team that suited me after initially being in placed in a role that wasn't for me. My current team has been really supportive and allowed me to grow as an engineer.
Graduate scheme is somewhat competency based and there is support for starting your chartership journey.

The onboarding system can be different for each business unit and site but you could end up spending a lot of time away from home at the start of your role for immersion and induction.
