Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
Graduate scheme has been good so far. Feel very supported and have a strong network to lean on. BAE Systems is not very diverse in terms of Gender and Race. A few of us from a Black Heritage background have had to form a network to support each other in the business. This is an area of improvement - I believe the application process also hinders diverse talent, especially what is expected of you for SC clearance

I very much enjoy engaging with team members and love the personable side of being a project manager. I also like working towards and goal/target/schedule

As explained in my initial statements, BAE could do a lot more to support and spotlight the little diversity it has in the company especially in terms of people of Black Heritage

Overall the graduate scheme has been a great experience for me, I've learnt a lot built an incredible network, although there are things that could be done better with diversity and compensation

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to BAE Systems?
The application and onboarding process is quite exhaustive, also the start dates have been moved quite frequently for most grads I know so I think it would help to manage expectations a bit better
