Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAE Systems?
I have had a good experience at BAE, due to my mature age i am treated not as a graduate but as another engineer, it is understood that i am a graduate but i am never treated as such and my experience in other industries is leant into with leadership qualities already being identified
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Working in an engineering delivery team to provide engineering justification to design choices

I have exposure to some fantastic training courses through the company, i have never been refused a training course and this has allowed me to extend my personal development at pace

How is the support you receive?

My direct team and wider team are incredibly supportive, i get support from peers of a slightly higher pay grade and management who are multiple levels above me if needed.
How is your work-life balance?

My work life balance is good, as a parent it is incredibly important for this to be the case, the flexible working has allowed me to maintain an excellent work life balance
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The organisation really promotes togetherness and working together towards a shared goal, due to the nature of the business and restrictions on certain pieces of equipment this really drives conversation between people which brings us closer together

As someone with a disability i have found the company to be accommodating, the company is diverse and treats people equally

Due to the nature of the business CSR is at the top of the agenda for the company
