Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working within the customer marketing team, specifically creating marketing campaigns on behalf of the sales team in order to aid in the sales of all physical products within stores and online. In addition to this, I had several administrative responsibilities such as working and managing various key financial documents and documents which was relied on heavily across a number of teams in order to track crucial sales information.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given a high level of responsibility and independence with the work I was given during my placement year. I was also able to gain new responsibilities within a different team whilst maintaining my current ones in my main team which taught me a lot of new skills and experience which I am very grateful for.

I received a huge amount of support and guidance from my peers and seniors which I am deeply grateful for and will carry a lot of things I was taught with me for the rest of my life.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was great, I was surrounded by genuine, kind and caring people who all looked out for each other and went out of their way to help and support anyone who needed it. The company had some excellent things to offer in order to keep morals high and the work force efficient and happy.
