Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Role was to support the digital team in creating and validating the university sciences asset database to ensure all equipment is accounted for and to prevent duplicates and to make it easier to search and update the database. To analyse room and equipment bookings to understand when a which equipment are being booked by students to ensure equipment is not sitting in the stock room and being utilised by students. Create forms and analyse the report to better understand preferences of departments for the layout and interface of the asset database.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given independence to conduct the analysis of the data and to report findings to the team.
Supported in developing the asset database.
