Overall, how would you describe your experience at Arm?
Good, people are generally very friendly. You would be in an environment that allowed yourself to explore your passions and interests. When it gets overwhelming, you realise that there are many people around to help you out.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a software engineer, I would be looking at the architecture of various technologies within my team. On top of that, a lot of investigation goes into new softwares which can be implemented into the team's current workflow. The element which I enjoy the most is the endless learnings and boundaries meant to be broken as you just keep learning something new everyday.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How is the support you receive?

The support system which was received was adequate. I got help from my managers and mentors whenever I needed it. The HR department was quick to reply whenever I had some IT issues. However, there might be a lack of proactivity from their side, hence why you will need to go out of your way to make meetings happen at times.
How is your work-life balance?

At the moment, with no many responsibilities, the work life balance is quite good such that I am still in a good mental headspace while still performing my role to the best I can.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The company follows the North Star to the end, and it is nice to see that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals.
How would you rate Arm initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

From time to time, various emails and links are sent throughout the company to give people the necessary confidence to speak their mind. Arm also goes out of their way to provide accessibility for incoming interviews.

Why?
Arm is a place that allows you to grow emotionally and technically. You will have an ample amount of time to ease yourself into the culture as you venture into different technical areas at your own pace.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

The recruitment process was led by engineers and HR which reflected the way they worked, giving prompt responses.
