Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I would be set personal assignments and client based work to complete each day with help and guidance from colleagues. There would be a range of tasks and I got a lot of choice in the area I wanted to work in.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes definitely, I was able to get involved directly in client work and a couple client meetings to really learn and have a great hands on experience.

Yes, corporate interpersonal and professional skills were a big area of development. I also felt I improved my analytical skills as I was able to apply my previous knowledge to real life examples.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a great deal of guidance through not just my mentor and supervisor with meetings every fortnight, but also from the whole team that were constantly on hand and happy to answer questions and delegate work to me

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

There was a great company culture. Everyone was so welcoming and the it was a great positive atmosphere, which helped me learn so much. There were lots of social opportunities I was lucky to attend throughout the summer, for example the football tournament between all offices.
