Summer Placement Review

My role within my summer placement has a variety of tasks which makes it exciting and interesting. I regularly complete renewals for tenancies on properties or land and complete the relevant notices or letters. I have taken rental enquiries from potential clients and spoken to clients about various problems. I have done a lot of investigation into wayleave agreements on estates. I have provided the base line for a valuation on some buildings

I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement as I wrote new tenancy agreements and sent letter out to clients. Also I got given the responsibility to speak to existing clients and potential clients.

I have learnt a substantial amount while being at Fisher German, I have built up my confidence with communicating with clients over the phone, I have developed the ability to think on my feet if a client has asked me a question. I have also learnt how to be professional in terms of writing emails or letters. Overall, I have extended my knowledge on the industry.

I was given enough support and guidance which i needed during my placement as my line manager was always on hand to give me any advice or direction when i needed it. The team was also very positive in wanting to help me as they were always friendly.

The atmosphere was very inclusive friendly atmosphere with everyone talking together sharing their knowledge. There was also many social events which I was encouraged to get involved with.

I enjoyed my placement a lot it exceeded my expectations a lot as i was given a lot more responsibility than I initially thought which i enjoyed as it gave every piece of work a lot more meaningfulness. I loved the company culture as it feels that everyone gets on with everyone and everyone feels like they want to help each other. I would love to go back to work at Fisher German as the graduates look like they have a good level of responsibility with taking their own estates on in management.

Yes
