Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
Good overall, a lot of good people in my team that help me learn and are very knowledgeable and there is good structured training. There is no flexibility to remote work which is challenging with a long commute and sometimes you can be overworked/expected to work outside of hours and remuneration is not based on performance as a graduate. Socially it is a very positive environment to work in and there is a lot of opportunity for learning/being involved in exciting projects.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy project management and tasks that involve project solving. It's also exciting to work closely with clients from the outset and to go on site visits.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel valued most of the time verbally and receive positive feedback when I do well and am given more responsibility as I improve which is positive. I don't think remuneration necessarily aligns with this.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I don't think remuneration aligns with workload an expectations of the role and it is not based on performance at graduate level, in my experience.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Very well there is a lot of opportunity to learn, do CPD and be involved in different tasks/projects to maximise learning to prepare for future career steps.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Very well, formal training days are great and help with both your APC and topic based things.

How is the support you receive?

Overall very good but there are noticeable periods where workload makes this challenging and there has been less opportunity for support which hasn't always been acknowledged/addressed.

Inflexibility to work from home and expectation to maintain a high workload/work outside of hours at multiple peaks has negatively impacted work life balance and mental wellbeing.

Generally very positive, very welcoming, social and professional.

Overall it is a good learning environment to work in with many opportunities to improve professionally through training and on the job learning with oversight from colleagues.
