To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Of course, balancing study with work can be challenging at times, but I find this motivating as it pushes me to develop strong time-management and organisational skills. Overall, the programme is both rewarding and enjoyable, and I feel it is setting me up with the right mix of skills and experience for a successful career in digital technology.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
In addition, I’ve improved existing skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. Balancing academic study with workplace responsibilities has really strengthened my ability to prioritise tasks and stay organised. Overall, I feel I’m continuously learning and becoming more confident in both my technical expertise and professional skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
Of course, balancing work and study requires good time management, but the structure of the programme makes this manageable and ensures I’m progressing in both areas. Overall, I feel the programme is well designed to support my development.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
I also receive support with balancing my academic commitments alongside my workplace responsibilities, which makes the apprenticeship manageable. Overall, I feel well supported and encouraged to grow, both in my studies and in my role at E.ON.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
This support, combined with the practical experience I gain at E.ON, ensures I can effectively apply my learning and progress steadily through my programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Learning the theory alongside gaining hands-on experience allows me to understand not just how to do something, but also why it’s done that way, which improves the quality of my work and my problem-solving ability. Overall, the qualification is closely aligned with my day-to-day responsibilities and is helping me develop into a more capable and confident professional.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Participating in these activities not only helps me develop professionally but also allows me to connect with colleagues, build a sense of community, and gain a broader understanding of the company culture.
