Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
My experience at Savills so far has been pleasant. I have enjoyed most of the work I have been doing. I feel challenged but also happy that I have been given enough responsibility.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My main responsibilities include monitoring local authorities for planning consultations and news, liaising with local authorities and clients and completing reports .
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel as though I am able to input into important work for jobs and monitoring gives me a chance to share useful information with the team which they and the clients value.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I find that I am fairly compensated for my work but sometimes I am required to work longer hours for which I feel I am not enough remunerated.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I think the challenge of the work and the training I receive is preparing me very well.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

The variety of work has developed lots of new skills and I receive enough formal training.

I receive enough support from both my peers and my line manager on a regular basis, both in terms of technical work issues and wellbeing.
How is your work-life balance?

I think the work-life balance is generally good, there are certainly busy periods where it is necessary to work beyond contracted hours but it is very rare to have to do any work on the weekends.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The working policy is in the office all of the time unless you have appointments or a particular reason. I think this has been good for my development and would be preferable to lots of remote working however it isn't the most flexible and some time at home would be nice.
How would you rate Savills initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

I have had no issues in this regard and have attended several good events on this subject.
How would you rate Savills CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
4/5
There are regular charity events in the office and we undertook a charity day as a team.

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I think Savills is a good place to work and a great place to start a career, the progression path is clear. It is also a large company and so there are opportunities to work on exciting projects.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

I think the role has matched up reasonably well with my expectations.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
I would advise others to research the company and perhaps reach out to other graduates to ask about their experience and the day to day job to share any useful knowledge.
