Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
Very good
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Commercial Valuation rotation: I was responsible for inspecting offices, retail and industrial properties, analysing market data and preparing valuation reports for investment and lending purposes. I particularly enjoyed applying valuation methodologies to different asset types and understanding how market trends affect values.
Commercial Agency rotation: I focused on marketing properties, conducting viewings and negotiating lettings and sales. I enjoyed the fast pace and the client interaction, which built my confidence and communication skills.
Retail Property Management rotation: I managed day-to-day operations of shopping centres and retail units, including service-charge budgeting, tenant liaison and maintenance coordination. I enjoyed developing long-term relationships with occupiers and seeing how proactive management can enhance asset performance.
