Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
My experience so far has been great - I've received a lot of help from colleagues and thoroughly enjoy being in the office. Have made lots of new friends and enjoy the day to day job.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I prepare and submit a lot of applications ranging in size. I monitor these applications and liase with clients, other consultants and planning officers from local authorities. I give advice on development potential and help answer any queries our clients may have.

Why?
Great place to start as a graduate planner as you are exposed to a wide range of jobs allowing you to diversify your knowledge. I have received a lot of support throughout the entire time I've worked here. Good work atmosphere and vey social - everyone is very friendly.

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
Be yourself and be aware of what is going on in the planning world. I think a lot of people are hired based on their ability to talk to others and show that they are knowledgeable and able to provide support to clients.
