Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
It has been a great experience. Great office in Leeds very friendly and social. Good support for the APC which will help with my career.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Main responsibility is to support my manager in lettings and sales by preparing enquiry schedules and reports and talking to prospects. I have been responsible for letting the smaller units which is interesting and what I enjoy.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel like I play a huge part in the team as there are only 3 of us and there is always something to do.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I think the benefits offered are good. The pay could be better but it is a average salary for a graduate in Leeds.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I have a great team with good future prospects. I enjoy my job and I have good support for the APC which will help my career progression once I am chartered.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

I think I am developing new knowledge everyday and skills as a surveyor.

Good support, I can ask for help from anybody and they are willing to help.
How is your work-life balance?

I work 9 to 5:30 which is good for my work-life balance. Sometimes there are events which are after working hours but it is a good experience.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The organisation culture is great. Working hard and providing a good service but not sacrifising the fun.
How would you rate Savills initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

I think the initiatives are great, working here everybody is inclusive.
How would you rate Savills CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

I think Savills put in a lot of effort to be sustainable. However, as surveyors it is hard not to drive a lot.

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I think Savills have a good culture and the people working here are genuinely very good at what they do so there is a lot to learn. There are a lot of teams and people so if you are interested in property you would probably find something you like.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

I think it was great to talk to people during the recruitment process and get to know the team.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
I think the networking section on the assessment day is very important. If you know who your team is make sure you talk to them in a friendly manner and make a good impression. Everyone at the interview process are good at their work but you need to show that you are good with people and easy to work with.
