Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I worked on a variety of tasks - transfer values, accounting disclosures, drafting reports, analysing data and 3 assignments.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a good amount of responsibility, having to be proactive with receiving work and making sure I stick to deadlines with the tasks I were handed.

Having my own mentor and line manager meant I always had an employee to talk to if I needed help. Support was always offered from colleagues.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I loved the atmosphere of the company, especially the Leeds office. It was very friendly and welcoming, and everyone helped me to settle in. There were many opportunities to get involved with social activities (like football and netball tournaments). The company are very proactive on being environmentally friendly.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my time at the company, I feel I've learnt a lot of new skills which will really help me in the future, and I've also made some great friends. I had the opportunity to get involved in a lot of social activities which was great to talk to people.
