Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend National Grid to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I was very well supported in a role I didn't know very much about and was able to develop my skills and take on a critical role for the business. I studied History and Politics at university so entering an engineering firm was daunting but the grad scheme spends time developing engineering skills for non-engineers to support in our careers.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
5/5
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to National Grid?
Learn about net zero and the energy transition and highlight which bits you are passionate about at the interview
