Synthetic Training and Support Engineer Review

My role was working within the Synthetic Training and Support Engineering team, where we came to maintain certain products like simulators and equipment used, keeping them up to the highest safety standards, consistant usage for training purposes and supported other clients if they had issues.

Yes, within the 12 weeks of being here over my Summer Intership, I was given different jobs/tasks throughout the complete from the start and given the responsibility off my line manager to complete them thoroughly. If I ever struggled with a task, I always asked for help regarding this, but was forever supported.

Definetly, they have taught me how to develop further within the working industry when using new technology and systems, learning how management of issues is controlled and allowed me to further with new skills within the engineering and systems sector.

I recieved a lot of support throughout my placement of not only my team and my line manager, but also from other surrounding clients within the office and colelagues from the early careers team. If I was ever stuck on anything or had any questions about it all, I always felt like I was available to ask about anything.

The general atmosphere in the office was great, as everybody in there was always involving and sociable, therefore it never felt at any points during the 12 weeks, that I was in the way or didn't feel uncomfortable to ask a question or for help throughout it.

I massively enjoyed my itnership at BAE Systems and was extremely lucky with the team I was situated with and the role I was doing, as it was a whole new learning environment and skills developed, while networking with multiple sectors of the company and being able to socialise with other people in the team.
