Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
My experience at Savills has been great. The people are very friendly and helpful and the job is varied.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Business Space Property Management - day-to-day managing of commercial properties, including chasing rent and service charge arrears, dealing with issues e.g., leaks, water/drainage and getting the necessary help
Valuation - valuing new build schemes around the UK, finding comps and inputting into pricing models to also show the investment break up values
Central London Retail Agency - varies daily but onsite viewings of properties, showing tenants around, landlord and tenant communication, valuing in terms of zone A rates, understanding and researching the market

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Dependent on team/role but current role in agency gives large extent as you actively see your contributions in new lettings.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Again, dependent on the team and dependent on their expenses programme and what they expect of you, i.e., agency expect you to go and meet other agents and you can therefore expense more than another team.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Very well in terms of general skills and confidence but depends on the direction of my future career
