Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
Very Good - wide range of experience, helpful colleagues, good level of responsibility, interesting work
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
In my current team - preparing and submitting planning applications for a wide range of developments, liaising with clients, conducting site appraisals.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

It is difficult living in London on our relatively small graduate salaries - most grads spend over 50% of their monthly salary on rent, not even including bills or travel to and from work. Our rents increase each year and will continue to do so but salaries don't
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Very good in terms of the breadth of experience over the grad scheme. Not as good in terms of transparency regarding hiring for permanent jobs at the end of the grad scheme - we understand that not enough teams are hiring for the number of grads looking, and know older grads who have struggled to find jobs and that some have had to leave as a result.

Good working environment - almost everyone seems willing to help and answer questions, good breadth of experience across a range of teams
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

Yes in general but was unaware of how difficult it was to find a permanent job at the end of the grad scheme/that it is not guaranteed
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
Ask for ad-hoc weeks of work experience (outside of a formal internship) in teams that you are interested in
