Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
My experience at Savills has been really good. They offer plenty of learning opportunities, a structured training programme, and professional insight onto matters to fulfil your learning and to help you progress towards your APC qualification.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Within my role, I was responsible for the day-to-day management of an institutional client, under the observation of my line manager. I also completed adhoc work for other private estates. This included leasing and letting, landlord and tenant matters, producing quarterly reports for clients, chasing debtors, keeping compliance up to date, and instructing contractors where necessary.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

My team do make me feel valued, and do give me plenty of opportunities to gain knowledge and experience.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

There are some good benefits, but given the level of responsibility and work load given, there could be more.

Everyday was a school day - whether I was drafting tenancies or drafting emails, I was learning all the time.

Very good support system in place, with Buddy systems and discussions with my line manager.

Not any reflection on the business, it is more that my personal life is busy and I can sometimes struggle to have a good work life balance.

Very good. I have the ability to work from home when needed, and everyone in the office gets on very well.

Why?
The job is good, its a very impressive company to work for, the perks are good, and there is ample of ability to progress further into the business.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

Very well, everything we were informed about was true, and the feel given at the recruitment stage is still the same feel that Savills has now, whilst I'm employed by them.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Savills?
Be yourself and be honest. They aren't worried about the knowledge you may have, as they can teach you and provide you with the knowledge. What matters most is the type of person and personality that are employing.
