Shadowing engineers and helping teams to maintain and develop the HV Distribution network and seeing all the relevant jobs that go into this.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
To a certain extent - alot of the work is shielded by a requirement for authorisations and safety restrictions.

Don't be shy to ask questions. Not alot is very obvious and your degree might not help as much as you think. Everyone starts somewhere.
