Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My day-to-day involved a variety of tasks including preparation of personal and corporate tax returns. I also assisted on a range of different advisory projects giving me a well rounded insight into tax.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
All of the work I completed was for clients and as part of that I gained some fantastic direct exposure through meetings and emails.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
BHP has a fantastic company culture and everyone was really welcoming. The atmosphere in the Leeds office was really friendly and made it an enjoyable place to work.
