Overall, how would you describe your experience at Virgin Media O2?
It has been a very rewarding experience. Not just because we get to experience a lot of different areas within Telecoms, but we have a group of people going through the same thing and we develop lasting relationships with them! We also have an amazing support system.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Main responsibilities were liaising with stakeholders on multiple projects, producing business insight reports (data analytics), producing Tableau dashboards, producing Excel tools for resource management using VBA, and more.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I fell very valued by the teams I have been placed in. My work has a tangible impact on the teams I work with and the business.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Competitive salary for a Graduate scheme, and we have good benefits.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

We actually have real responsibilities and have to manage internal and external stakeholders. We are treated as actual permanent employees, while still being supported and given time to learn and develop.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

I have developed many essential skills extensively since starting the scheme, from presentation and communication skills, to stakeholder management, technical skills such as SQL, VBA, Tableau and many more.

We are very supported throughout the scheme. By the scheme leads and the Future careers team, the teams we are placed in and our grads, interns and apprentices.
