Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Property management involves liaising with clients and landlords about the general management of commercial buildings.
This could be determining the service charge budget, which determines the service charge the tenants would pay for the upkeep of the property and communal areas.
You will get to look around some very cool buildings and have meetings with big clients.
Client relationships are very important in this role so interpersonal skills are important.

As you become more familiar with the job and gain more industry knowledge then you will gain more responsibilities.

My team were all extremely friendly and always welcome to help.
The general feeling within the whole company is that you could literally go up to anyone for support and they will be more than happy to help.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is very sociable - you will definitely have a good time.
The working hours could be long but no different to any job.
The general atmosphere is very friendly and everyone wants the best.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my internship.
All the fellow interns were all really nice and a lot of fun. Everyone within the business has been supportive and allowed me to learn as much as I can within my time here.
Hopefully I will come back in the future.
