Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Research into areas related to renewable energy, sustainability, nature loss and climate change. Collecting data on financial flows into sustainable solutions, writing reports, talking with clients.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Huge amounts. Was given a research project with defined scope to carry out on my own over 10 weeks with help from management team. Given lots of freedom to choose interesting focus areas and freedom to write report, decide on data collection method and to design graphs.

Lots. Much better at Excel and improving at python. Data collection ability significantly improved. Writing improved. Better at modelling and research skills. Analysis skills improved.
