Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

In Sales we had to call clients in order to pitch specific Terminal functions. We were also able to go to some clients meeting.
In Analytics we had to shadow full time employees to see what was their typical workflow, We also took exams on specific asset classes such as Equities, FX & Commodoties and Fixed Income.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes a lot as we were exposed directly to the client during meetings and during calls.

We were very much guided throughout this internship thanks to our mentors, our managers. The fact that everything was well planned thanks to a timetable.
