Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I really enjoyed my role as an aerospace engineer. I was placed in a really friendly team, introduced to my role gradually and got to really understand different areas of the business. I've made good friends with the people in my team and fellow interns, I'd highly recommend!

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a perfect balance of responsibility. I had my own projects to work on, that will be used after I leave, but always had support from my line manager, my team and early careers.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I've learnt that I have the ability to complete a high level of work, which has helped me to gain confidence. I've definitely developed my communication and adaptability in a way I couldn't learn in University.

Really comfortable, and always surrounded by knowledgeable people who would love to share their knowledge.
