Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The internship provides a comprehensive overview of WTW’s Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) Division, emphasizing its impact not only within the insurance industry but also in broader real-world contexts.
Each week, interns engage in a range of activities, including:
Attending sessions led by senior leaders to gain insights into different teams and their functions.
Completing essential training modules and professional development courses.
Contributing to team-specific tasks, typically involving research, data analysis, Excel, PowerPoint.
In addition to these responsibilities, interns also participate in a centrally sponsored, research-based project. This involves independently collecting data, collaborating with fellow interns, and delivering a final presentation to the board.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
You have considerable flexibility in deciding how much you'd like to take on. Taking on more responsibilities can lead to greater learning opportunities, though it's important to recognize there are limits.

I found the internship to be very enjoyable. While there were tasks to complete, the programme was thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and learning about the industry as a whole. This meant I was constantly engaging with professionals across different teams and gaining valuable insights from their experiences.
One of the great things about WTW is its size and diversity - there are so many different roles and areas to discover. If your interests don’t align with one particular team, there are countless others to explore.
