Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Required to send out contracts and get them signed and released for booking by the expiry date of the contract.
Support the wider commercial team with deal support and reviewing of quotes.
Support the Quarterly Audit request.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Given significant responsibility in my role as it was business critical and without our role no deals would get signed within the SAP UK&I Market unit and released for booking. Therefore no revenue could get recognised for these deals without this role.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received significant support and guidance. I had weekly meetings with a buddy and mentor within my team and monthly 1-1 meetings with my manager. I always felt that I could reach out to anybody within the team and throughout the company no matter there seniority and get support and guidance to any issue I was facing.

Culture was/is fantastic and is one of the best parts about the company. Everyone is very accessible and supportive.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at SAP and would recommend it to anybody. I feel I have developed significantly both on a personal and professional level.
