Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role was assistant e-commerce sales manager. It involves optimising the website and making changes to drive click through and conversion rates. My day involved attending teams meetings, having regular check-ins with my manager about the work I am doing and completing some online training. I would be analysing the website and looking for optimisation opportunities by using data analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics and Content Square. I would create decks and roadmaps with my new ideas and evidence to back up my reasoning. I would also present this to senior leaders. I would attend team days and help my manager with tasks and learning to work in an agile way. Different team meetings to prioritise and refine tickets, working with developers.

A lot of support from my manager and team about my work and tasks, but this would be dependent on your manager. I felt really welcomed by emerging talent and my team.

Really friendly and welcoming. Everyone was happy to have chats and introduce me to the team and also network so I could learn more about their role.
