Summer Marketing Intern - Digital Product Analyst Review

I was working with the Serve Product team to find digital solutions to reduce customer contact. This involved some data analysis, marketing insights, and product management tasks.

I was given a lot of responsibility during my internship and led on multiple projects.

I have developed my technical skills through analysing data using various platforms. I have also developed my organisational skills by working in the Agile-style framework. I also worked a lot with AI and learned how to use it efficiently as a tool to promote professional success.

I received a lot of support, everyone was very welcoming and open to answering any questions that I had. They were also quite proactive in checking in on how I was doing and how my scope of work was and my workload.

The company culture was very warm and open. Everyone is willing to help and sit down and have a coffee. It's a social company and does not feel hierarchical, so I felt like a real part of the team and like I was valued. I also stayed at Royal Holloway with the other interns for the majority of the internship which allowed me to form many relationships and have a good social culture in and outside of work.

I really enjoyed this placement. I was able to take on a lot of responsibility while feeling supported by my team. I was able to learn so much and contribute a very large amount of work and work on many different projects during my short amount of time here.
