Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Daily tasks included running reports, analysing data and supporting my team and the wider team. Going various partner calls and business planning & forecast calls

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Interns are treated as other employees and there is a great trust between manager and intern to compete tasks and hand over certain responsibilities. I felt I had a good amount of responsibility to take leadership on some projects

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Excel skills, writing skills whether it be email, event promotion, event invites and agendas. Reviews and feedback to enablement sessions.
My confidence in speaking to people in a business setting has vastly improved and I’ve built confidence using online meetings.

Naturally some members of the team took on a mentor role which really made my experience better and allowed me to get involved in projects that aren’t necessarily in my job role
