Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role as an intern involves assisting members of the A&C team on a variety of tasks, such as drafting client communication, using backfile systems to find member data and calculating CETV values for members on different schemes. I also did various training and completed a reseach project. Tasks often required the use of excel.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was responsible for completed tasks and doing them (mostly) correctly, but my work as always checked on multiple levels.

Lots of technical skills, including using excel and powerpoint. I've developed my research and presenting skills through completing a project.

Lots of support, mostly just from people in the office talking me through different concepts and helping me when I was struggling on certain details on tasks. I also felt well supported within office and on how to settle in.
