Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role was an actuarial and consulting intern, in which I would help both the London and East Croydon team in the development of various projects. I would assist them in whatever projects they were working on, handling data as well as producing reports. Day to Day, this would involve getting into the office, spending a bit of time working on my longer internship project, they starting on the activities that were tasked with me for the day.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a very high amount of responsibility, being trusted with handaling member data, as well as being given projects that would have a impending deadline. I was trusted greatly to complete the work in a timely fashion, as well as to a high standard.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very supportive, with no one person being above anyone. They make everyone feel comfortable in the office, given people free reigns to complete the work, while being there to help support them.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Isio, being able to get involved with whatever projects I wanted and having perfect support to give everything a go and learn all about the pensions industry in the process.
