Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The main purpose of the role is to support clients with research into different companies and industries. Practically, this involved researching the target, speaking directly with experts, making recommendations and ensuring compliance.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A very high level of responsibility, the same as any other associate and the opportunity to work directly on live deals.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I was able to develop a range of new skills, gaining exposure to some of the largest clients and industries in the world. Speaking daily with c-suite professionals develops your communication skills and you have to be very organised to manage so many projects and competing priorities.

You have a designated trainer who you sit next to on desk who gives you a lot of support and guidance, everyone you speak to is also very willing to help and advise.

The company culture is very young and fun. There are frequent socials, and everyone also works hard and is very encouraging and supportive.
