Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at CGI?
It has been a good experience so far, I have learnt a lot. CGI allow you to get stuck in and be fully emersed and provide support for its Early Careers cohorts. There are lots of opportunities outside of the job role to get involved in which helps you learn even more skills, meet a variety of people and network.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
For my first role in PMO main responsibilities:
- Resourcing (including on and off boarding, devices, security and liaising with senior management to provide CVs and organise interviews for roles that are needed for the project in question)
- Project paperwork (financial, commercial, approvals)
- Forecasting
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Supplier engagement and management
For my Commercial rotation main responsibilities:
- Initial reviews for supplier resource paperwork/contract ensuring compliance
- Assisting and supporting senior commercial team members with contract reviews, documentation preparation and other adhoc tasks
- Keeping records up to date and creating new entries
- Supplier engagement and management
- Delivery team engagement
