Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

In my position, I get to write code, fix issues and develop software for my team within Arm. This includes attending meetings, planning my projects, self-organising and independently working on my features.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a quite a lot of responsibility. The features I work on are actually used in the systems we work on which was very fulfilling.

What advice would you give to others applying to Arm

Always say what you're thinking when solving a problem. It is much more about the thought process than it is the end goal. Don't be afraid if you aren't the very top of your cohort, you are much more likely to get employed if you seem like an enjoyable person to work with.
