4/5
Operations Lead for HSSU, Ops is diverse. I write Capex, sign off capex for the group. Review and look for cost savings. Provide data analysis solutions. Test and maintain our tracking system. Support the UMS and SLT.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The best parts were the face to face lessons, either classroom or with Sharon. The online learning material format, did become monotonous after a time as there was not enough interactive parts, just a lot of reading.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Developed Existing skills and improved unpinning knowledge of theories and techniques.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Aptem is easy to use, the EPA is a bit confusing at the beginning however it becomes towards the end.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
My protected time for the latter part of my apprenticeship was more supported than at the beginning. I got really behind as i was getting the time i needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Sharon is lovely, and very supportive. She is obviously very stretched, but provided lots of support and was always quick to answer queries.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Its probably made me more self aware, i think the techniques and tools that are discussed are good skills to have in the toolkit.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
No we don't have anything like that.

No
Why?
We are currently going though lots of change and i wouldn't recommend a friend to join the group at this point, as the future of some areas of the business seem uncertain.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nuffield Health?
Ask the person who is interviewing what are there biggest challenges, and how they overcome them.
