Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an intern you would be expected to come into office every day, liaise with clients, complete tasks set by team and participate in events hosted by HR. Depending on the team you sit in, you could expect to be exposed to consistently going to client meetings in conjunction doing activities with them (Agency), email/ call tenants ( Tenant Rep and Business Space ) and prepare valuation reports for banks ( Valuation Team )

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

As intern, surprisingly, a lot of responsibility is handed down from the team. For example, reports and comparable that I have prepared throughout my time have been sent over the clients. However, this is subject to the interns ability to engage and proactive, if you are not engaged and proactive you seamlessly create a bad reputation and thus not trusted with work.

Support is in abundance. We are assigned buddies, colleagues with years worth of experience, explaining tasks and how Savills operate throughout the placement.
