Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

During the two weeks I stayed in seat ( my top choice ranking) and each day would undertake various tasks similar to what a trainee might do. I undertook research, drafting and reviewing tasks that gave me greater exposure to work within a commercial law firm. Throughout the vacation scheme also insight sessions into specific practice areas as well as networking lunches.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Very informative and provided more clarity on a future in commerical law and opportunities to develop career

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed greater knowledge on commercial law in practice through informative insight sessions and handling of documents for reviewing or research purpose.
Learnt how to network better , connecting with different people and being open to asking questions

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone was genuinely very nice, open and willing to invest time in my experience during the vacation scheme to enable me to maximise my time spent there.
