Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I have been assigned a mentor within a division and I am assigned tasks from them and various members within the team. This includes preparing reports for clients, communicating with tenants and reading leases.
The role includes site visits, meeting a range of stakeholders.
There are opportunities to meet other people in the wider business at Savills company-wide events.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given responsibility to give recommendations to other members within the team from the work I produced, which had implications for the client.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I was assigned with a mentor who has been extremely supportive, approachable and knowledge through the internship. This helped me settle into the team and the business quickly.
The HR team are also supportive, by organising a mid-placement review and regular calls to check-in.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
There is a hardworking culture, but it is also a sociable and fun firm to wok for. There are a variety of opportunities to get involved with company wide-events, including sport and volunteering.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship, which was helped greatly by being in a supportive and approachable team. I enjoyed the variety of work and also the opportunity to meet clients and visit the sites we were managing.
