Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Work with the varying members of the team on projects varying from valuations, consultancy, agency and strategic land disposal. This will either be on site visits/ inspections, conducting reports and valuations, due diligence for sites or properties, meeting with clients or drafting bids, invitation letters and Heads of terms
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, from the first day I've been given an appropriate amount of responsibility which has really helped me learn and develop.

When starting tasks I was often given a brief and what I may need to complete tasks, I was given assistance if needed whilst still being given responsibility.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very welcoming, every member of staff spoke to me and showed and interest as well as telling me and showing me what they do. Furthermore i was involved in staff sport and social events which were all very enjoyable.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I highly enjoyed the experience, coming out of the internship with new knowledge as well as a genuine belief I achieved certain goals and know that I contributed work and opinion to the team.

What advice would you give to others applying to Savills
go for it. Savills is such a lovely place to have worked and all the team are very supportive of people trying to get into the industry. The best thing to do is just talk to as many people at the Savills as you can and see what happens from there.
