Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I contribute to the documents the team produces as part of the planning process. This means I create site appraisals, help with planning statements and any other documents that need writing. I also go on site and join meetings when there is the opportunity.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I felt that my work was contributing to the productivity of the team therefore I felt responsible for staying on top of it.

I have become more competent using my knowledge of the planning system, and applying this to the work I am doing, such as writing reports, letters and other documents. I have also developed my communication and organisation skills.

I received a great amount of support and guidance, being in the office every day meant I could always ask people around me for help, and my team ensured I felt comfortable to ask for help anytime.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The general culture and atmosphere is very friendly and open, I felt that I could start a conversation with anyone on my team, and further no matter what level they were at in their career.
