Yes, responsible for own project within a team but responsibility vary depending on your project and team. Expected to work independently in the lab following training.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Supervisor and IP manger provided a lot of support, team was welcoming and willing to answer any questions. Training was provided for majority of tasks.
