Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves arranging the logistics of our apprentices' teaching sessions, eligibility checks for applicants, carrying out our financial processes on the ILR and ensuring we are compliant. I also support the trainers within my team to ensure they are prepared for all sessions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed the programme. It has been insightful, explained in an easy way to understand, and the delivery was structured in a very helpful format/way.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt and developed multiple new skills I already had when starting my role. Areas such as project management, business fundamentals, financial processes and coaching others have heightened my skills and given me valuable knowledge I can use throughout my career.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was structured in a really helpful way. Each teaching session is structured well to keep you engaged and is highly interactive, making it easier to understand. Sessions are ordered in a way where each topic links well together and is easy to connect.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Due to being an employer provider, my employer is highly involved in my apprenticeship delivery and learning. My employer ensures I have designated time to work on my assignments and gives me exposure to areas that will help me evidence criteria.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
As mentioned, my organisation is an employer provider and therefore my job role and training are heavily linked. My trainer responds quickly to any issues/questions I have and provides helpful feedback regarding different assessment elements. My trainer also points out areas within my role that could be used as evidence and gives ideas.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel my training has improved my performance within my role. It has provided me with a better understanding of the business sector I work it, how different processes are usually carried out and helped me understand why certain elements need to be done a specific way.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I don't personally get involved in any extracurricular activities at work due to my hobbies being on a more individual basis, such as reading. There are, however, a lot of different groups and activities that you can take part in that are regualry shared and encouraged within the organisation.
