As a Kitchen Assistant,I support the chef and overall kitchen operations to ensure food preparation and service run smoothly and efficiently.My role is essential in maintaining hygiene standards, preparing ingredients,and keeping the kitchen organized.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

How well organised/structured is your programme?

There is a clear routine in the kitchen, with specific responsibilities assigned to each team member, and we follow a set scheduel for food preparation, service and cleaning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My supervisor and the chef are approachable and willing to answer questions or show me how to do something if I'm unsure.

Currently, there aren't any official extracurricular or networking events, but I'd definitely be interested in getting involved if they were offered.

I recommend being open to learning , even if you don't have much catering experience. Aspens provides training and support, so showing a willingness to improve and take direction will go a long way.
