Turn up early, graft to my competence. Use my initiative. Be ambitious and hard working. Give ideas and listen to ideas given. Ask and receive help when struggling. Constantly doing and being better as an electrician
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

To the extent of me making it a weekend thing. I look at my job as my hobby i enjoy it. I can do alot more than just be an electrician. The support you receive as an individual. The respect and knowledge earned and given. The motivation into being better
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt alot of electrical skills. My personality has been broadened. Ive gained confidence in conversations and in myself. Math skills. English skills. Ive gained trust in my work. Im reliable and ive gained others trust. I can do work i wouldnt of been able to do before my apprenticeship

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is organised really well. The staff and directors are right behind you all the way. Support is always there. A hand definitely given mentality and physically
How much support do you receive from your employer?

More than enough. Constantly encouraging apprentices to perform at a better rate and helping them reach their full potential
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

More than enough aswell. I can call them if i was or ever had been struggling not just with work but with personal problems too. They also encourage you to be better and help you reach your full potential
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me confidence. People come to me when they need an electrical question answered. I have the confidence to work by myself and get the job done with pride

Why?
They support your needs. And constantly want you to do better by providing the help and the support needed. They see your full potential before you can. I have been more than happy with the company in terms of where ive gotten
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E. W. Gee Ltd?
To be keen. Ambitious and chase it if its really want you want. Honesty is the best policy and by being honest you gain confidence and trust from the employers
